So this is what 12 looks like!

New hair do, new skirt, and new school.  She's starting 7th grade!  Sometimes you just see children as they were, as they are, and as they will become all in the same instant.  That's what it was like as I was editing these images.  They grow up so fast...

It was my pleasure to spend an evening with this trio of lovely ladies.  Later in the evening with the warm sun shining down, it was just hot enough to be sure that it was July.  The girls played, did cartwheels, found shells at the creek, and ran fast!  I followed them around with my camera catching them in various pockets of light.

Best Friends - Lifestyle

Love these girls!  One of them is our favorite babysitter of all time, too.  They were cracking me up the whole time we were out sweating in the muggy heat, and when we were all done they left me missing my own best friends something fierce.

Um.  Yeah.  See what I mean???  100% fun.  Love these girls!!  Do you both really have to go off to college?  Can't you just stay here?

I know, dumb question.  Of course you aren't going to stick around here.  Onward and upward to bigger and better things ladies!
